Umm Said Port

In the 1970s, Doha's deepwater port reduced the need for Umm Saʿīd as a general port. A factory generating ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers, as well as a fully automated flour mill, are among the industrial developments there. Pop. (2015) 37,548; (2020) 29,330.
